KINDERGARTEN 1
Half Day Mandarin/Bilingual
8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Trial Class Available!
- 4-hour programme (includes school lunch), or 6-hour extended programme that includes a variety of enrichment classes
- Bilingual programme
- Curriculum is balanced between developing children into curious, confident, creative, caring and engaged individuals as well as equipping them with skills they will need to strive in primary schools
- Curriculum is theme-based and close to children’s lives, making learning meaningful and fun.
- Focus on preparing children for Kindergarten 2 level and skill-based competencies such as phonics and reading skills, mathematical understanding and thinking in logical and scientific ways
- Hands-on as well as creative activities like art & craft, object exploration, group projects and learning through body/senses and through movement
- Physical activities include gross motor activities (at gym/playroom) and fine-motor/writing activities to promote overall physical development of child
- Work on developing children’s social and emotional skills
- English Phonics as well as Mandarin Phonics (Hanyu Pinyin) taught in class.
- The Mandarin segment is conducted 100% in Mandarin by native Chinese speaking teachers
- Class size (max 20 students with 2 teachers)
- King’s Arcade (ECDA-registered kindergarten) K1 :
8:30 am to 12:30 pm or 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Enrollment is for 5x a week, Mondays to Fridays - Tides K1:
8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Option to enroll 3x to 5x a week
